TSN.configurator

Design, Automated Configuration and Verification of Time-Sensitive Networks

TSN.configurator™ is a comprehensive tool for designing, verifying, and configuring TSN-compliant devices — ensuring the required timing and reliability QoS

Your TSN configuration service

TSN.configurator automates the configuration of Time-Sensitive Ethernet networks, from routing to advanced features such as scheduling, policing and redundancy.

Correct by construction

TSN.configurator analyzes link utilization, latency, throughput, and reliability requirements to generate a mathematically verified TSN configuration that ensures compliance with the application needs.

Multi-vendor support

TSN.configurator offers seamless configuration for any Ethernet or TSN-compliant products, and supports multi-vendor equipment within the same network.

Define network topology and streams in the IDE or via an API

The configuration of your devices is generated

The configuration is deployed e.g. over NETCONF

TSN.configurator highlights:

  • Traffic Prioritization (IEEE 802.1p)
  • Time Synchronization (IEEE 802.1AS & 802.1ASdm)
  • Credit Based Shaper (IEEE 802.1Qav)
  • Scheduled Traffic (IEEE 802.1Qbv)
  • Frame Preemption (IEEE 802.1Qbu & 802.3br)
  • Per-Stream Filtering and Policing (IEEE 802.1Qci)
  • Frame Replication and Elimination for Reliability (IEEE 802.1CB)
  • YANG datamodels (IEEE 802.1Qcp, 802.1Qcw, 802.1CBcv, 802.1ASdn, 802.1Qdx)

TSN.configurator creates XML configuration files that fully comply with the standardized TSN YANG models, and automatically deploys them to the hardware via the NETCONF protocol.

A specialized edition of TSN.configurator, tailored to the devices of our partner SOC-E, has been in production since 2021.

The configuration engine at the core of TSN.configurator has been used for the last 18 years in the automotive, aerospace and industrial domains – see the users that trust us.
